It's amazing what you can learn by following a few people on Twitter.
Just as I'm typing this post I'm getting updates from the Today show, links to some awesome handmades, general info, and Elliott Yamin has even encouraged me (not personally) to vote for his new video on vh1. My local newspaper sends out updates on local news events, local radio stations do the same.
Right now, I'm using TwitterFox which is a plug-in made for Mozilla's Firefox browser. So if I'm browsing the internet with Firefox I'm also receiving Tweets at the same time right in the toolbar.
Is Twitter a good thing? Yeah, I think so. Can it be distracting and a time waster? You betcha. As with everything, moderation is key.
If you haven't tried twitter. I encourage you to do so, even if it's for a short while. It's free and easy to use and it can take up as much or as little time as you'd like it to.
If you're already a member you can follow me at this link. twitter.com/eweNme and I normally follow everyone that follows me, with a few exceptions. ;-)
Below are a couple of graphics in various sizes, for you to use to promote your own twitter account. Just right click and save them to your own computer.
Enjoy!

What are you doing?? - Do you Twitter??
I just signed up with Twitter a few minutes ago. Do you know what it is? I've heard about it many times, but I didn't really know for sure what it was until I watched the little video they have on their website. LOL
I'm going to attempt to tell you what is is, so please, correct me if I'm wrong... The whole concept of Twitter is considered to be "micro-blogging". Each post you make can only be 140 characters long (at most) and the main thing you "twitter" about is the question... "What are you doing?"
Shortly after I signed up I received this in an email from them... "The New York Times calls Twitter "one of the fastest-growing phenomena on the Internet." TIME Magazine says, "Twitter is on its way to becoming the next killer app," and Newsweek noted that "Suddenly, it seems as though all the world's a-twitter." Now tell me, how can you be missing out on something this BIG?
If you're on Twitter, let me know as I really need some "friends" If you're not, you can still see "what I'm doing" by checking the "Twitter Updates" listed on the right-hand side of my blog.
My Twitter ID is EweNme and there's also a link on the right hand side of the blog to "follow me on twitter".
So hey - if you're not a member yet, join now and you can stumble thru this with me. If you are a member, add me to your friends list and maybe you can give me some pointers and help me out. twitter.com
See Ya Next Time!!
